The Malta Jazz Festival 2018

Every year lovers of jazz find their way to the Jazz Festivals that are held all over the world, and many of them put the Malta Jazz festival on their itinerary. There are good reasons for this. First of all, there is the line-up of musicians: a mix of established and rising talent from around the world. Secondly, held just outside the bastions of Valletta, Malta's World Heritage City, the background and scenery for the performances is definitely spectacular. Thirdly, well, who wouldn't want to spend a few days on a sunny island in the middle of the Mediterranean?

More information you will find on the Festival website.

The Venue: Ta' Liesse, The Valletta Waterfront
The Valletta Waterfront consists of a strip of renovated 18th century baroque warehouses built by the Knights of St. John and now converted into bookshops, restaurants and bars all by the water's edge and facing across the Grand Harbour to the ancient walled cities of Senglea, Vittoriosa and Cospicua, known locally as 'The Three Cities'. The waterfront is the perfect place to sit outside on hot summer nights, enjoy top notch Mediterranean cuisine and listen to jazz music. Valletta is a UNESCO World Heritage City and will be European Capital of Culture in 2018.
